Why Camden?

There is no limit to what the Lord can do here in Camden Town, North London. As a place known for markets, music, violence, drugs and what not, we believe there is a great work of change and restoration happening here as we speak.

We’re not talking about the ‘corporate makeover’ that is steadily changing the face of this place. God is doing something that is restoring the heart of what makes Camden great. The diverse mix of people and cultures found here are being united and restored by the gospel of freedom. As people around here come to know Jesus, he’ll soon bring his message of salvation much further than the NW1 postcode.

When the Spirit of God taps into a person’s natural gifting, such as art or music, amazing things can happen. We believe the Creator is tapping into the natural creativity found around this area. Songs will be written and stories will be told of the good things

God is doing among us. We are recording, filming and publishing as much as we can to bring God glory around the world.

In the future, we look to plant new works throughout the UK, Europe and Asia. London has vast potential as an international city, to affect the world with the gospel of Jesus. Not by merely importing and exporting religion, but by bringing the Spirit and Truth of Christ into every area of modern life.

We believe London will again be a city that sends missionaries all over the world to live and preach the gospel. There are people willing to “Go” to the places Jesus points towards, when they’ve learned of his power and goodness. That young drug dealer you walked by near Camden Lock may just be the next Hudson Taylor. This vision is much bigger than Camden or the Freedomhouse Church. That is why we are so excited to be a part of it…
