This tree has been an encouragement to me lately. When planting a church in a city like London, there are always some ugly black gates getting in the way. But as our roots have grown deeper over these last 5 years, we can see many breakthrough proofs that a living God is at work among us.

We recently baptised 4 very excited people. Among them was the first people to confess Christ in our living room over 3 years ago. We soon parted paths, but she started coming back to church just this Easter. She, along with the others are ready to swim in the deep end with Jesus.

Over the years we've become known for street evangelism. This is great, but it can be misleading. We love to share the gospel in many different ways, not just with a microphone and an iPod. Last Valentines, the ladies of Freedomhouse, along with little Jesse and Daniel, gave out Scripture-laced flowers to passers by in Camden Market. We also participated in a cold-weather homeless shelter where we made some great friends who still come around see us.

Relationships within the church are also getting stronger these days as we face trials together and enjoy the good times too. Whether it's a birthday, a new job, or even an Oxford acceptance, there's been much to celebrate lately. God has blessed us with a beautiful mix of unique people to help us build His church here in the UK.

Our family is still my favourite miracle. The mission field can be stressful and lonely at times, but God continually helps us see the simple joys that surround us. On Daniel's 3rd birthday, he requested a British big boy meal: burger, chips & beans. He actually finished it! On our 5th wedding anniversary, we took a train to the seaside for the day. We sat on the pebbly beach sharing some chips and looking out into the sea, remembering when we first flew across those waters as fresh-headed newlyweds.
Thanks to all of you who continually pray for us and support the work we do here in Camden Town, North London. We appreciate all of you.

Until next time...
