The Wonder Of It All:
Gutters are smelly and gross, but there is much potential for life.
Handmaiden Mary was overwhelmingly amazed that God would actually choose and use little ole’ her. She had no idea what it would actually cost her down the road and what a fuss would be made of her legacy. Regardless, I’d like to believe that at the end of her days she would still consider herself blessed and highly favoured among women.
Let the stress of the road and the smell of the gutter be flushed out of your mind for a moment. Just sit for a few seconds and consider the jaw dropping, head spinning wonder of God’s plan:
Jesus was sent to you so He could live through you (!!!?=?!!!).
You are love and highly favoured! So thank God for your grimy gutters. There may be some seeds there waiting for just a little more water…
